of 08.  He is a native of Southeastern Oklahoma where his father was a
Minister with the Kiamichi Mountain Christian Mission.  Jim is a graduate
of Smithville (OK) High School, and attended college at Oklahoma City
University, Dallas Christian College, and graduated Mid-South Christian
College in Memphis, TN with a Bachelor's Degree in Preaching Ministry.

His Ministry experience includes 6 years at Okolona Christian Church in
Okolona, Mississippi, 10 years at Watonga Christian Church in
Watonga, OK, 2 years at First Christian Church in West Point, MS and
moved to Drumright, OK to the First Christian Church in August of 07.  
He continues Ministering there and to the Cushing Christian Church.  He
says "I feel doubly blessed. I was praying for the Lord to open a door for
me to Minister in Oklahoma again, and He sent me to not just one, but to
two Church Families."

He was anxious to be back in Oklahoma to be closer to his 3 children
and his parents.  His son Brandon is a recent graduate of Oklahoma
Christian University and is a counselor with Advanced Academics in
Oklahoma CIty.  Brandon and his wife Amy are also part time Youth
Directors for the Mulhall Christian Church in Mulhall OK where Jim's
father Ministers.  

Jim's two daughers, Jamie and Julie, are both students at S.W.O.S.U. in
Weatherford, OK.  They are both on the Cheer Squad there, and are
both active in the Southwestern Christian Church in Weatherford.

Jim's emphasis in Ministry has always had a focus on preaching the
Word in a way that is clear, understandable, and encouraging, and in
Ministry to families with a special emphasis on the Youth.

The circle of family, fellowship, and friendship is ever growing and
widening at Cushing Christian Church where God is blessing.  We would
